Davidson Homes Enters Atlanta Market and Hires Division President, Reagan Anderson
Today, we are thrilled to announce that we have expanded into the Atlanta region! Davidson Homes has acquired 2,340 homesites in 15 communities in the northern Georgia cities of Cartersville, Cumming, East Paulding, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Locust Grove, Loganville, Marietta, McDonough, Stockbridge and Woodstock.
Adam Davidson, founder/president/CEO of Davidson Homes commented, “This move into Atlanta represents another step in the evolution of our company and builds on our strategy of focusing on Southeastern markets with solid economic growth and appealing quality of life. It also will provide us a solid foundation to expand our single-family rental platform and financial services business in a market that has historically been one of the most attractive in the country. The Coronavirus pandemic continues to pose challenges for many home builders, but everyone in our company has stepped up to keep Davidson Homes growing and serving the housing needs of our customers.”
This expansion marks the next stage of Davidson Homes’ organic growth throughout the Southeast. Of the 2,340 lots Davidson Homes acquired, more than 2,000 lots in nine communities were acquired through David Pearson. David Pearson Communities has announced plans to expand its Atlanta headquarters to support Davidson Homes’ future growth strategies throughout the Southeast.
Home prices in the fifteen Atlanta-area communities will range from $210,000 to $950,000. Size will vary from 1,600 square feet to 6,000 square feet.

“I am thrilled for this leadership opportunity and to be part of the amazing team Adam and Greg have put together,” said Anderson. “It is an exciting time for Davidson Homes. Adam’s strategic vision, coupled with the strong resources of Davidson Homes, put us in a unique position to grow quickly in this very active housing market. I look forward to advancing the Davidson Homes mission of providing our customers with quality homes that are built expertly and affordably.”
Reagan will be based in Marietta and report to Greg Duriez, regional president for Davidson Homes. Davidson Homes is moving quickly in launching the Atlanta division. We’ve hired 17 people in the Marietta office and plan to employ another 10-16 people within the next 60 days.
“Due to the significant growth of our business, our company will benefit significantly from Reagan’s leadership skills, experience and market knowledge,” said Duriez. “Over the course of his career, he has earned an excellent reputation for providing exceptional customer service and has built a remarkable network of contacts in the residential home building industry – both invaluable qualities that will help our company grow in this all-important market in the Southeast.”
