Priceville is home of the Morgan County Veterans Memorial, which is located within Veterans Park. Take a trip to honor the men and women who served in our United States military. Perfect for a family day trip with the kids or just a quick visit, Veterans Park is close to the heart of Priceville. The park holds several other monuments including Prisoner of War (POW), Missing In Action (MIA) and Purple Heart.
Local Events
The city of Priceville holds several local events each year that are perfect for days spent with family and friends. Each August, tons of people gather in Veterans Park for the annual Cruise In Car Show. Along with the antique car raffle, there’s also delicious food vendors, a free “kiddie” area, a local band playing all night long and a fireworks show to end the night. For some holiday season fun, the annual Sheila Smith Christmas Parade is the place to be, with the most creative floats eligible for cash prizes. The parade is just the thing to get your family in the holiday spirit.
